David Brooks lives in San Clemente, CA with his wife Susan and the youngest
of his four children.
His graduate work was completed at Kean University and is a member of
Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He has traveled the lands where his stories
unfold and his characters perhaps once lived. A student of Western History,
he has brought his vision of the West to these stories.
A member of the Single Action Shooting Society, David is know as Agoura
Kid, badge #4738 and is a regular participant in Cowboy Action Shooting.
Many of his reviews and articles have appeared in The Cowboy Chronicle
the official paper of SASS.
A visual artist in his own right David's sculptures, paintings and photographs
have been shown in Galleries in the US and Abroad. With this series
of stories he brings his creativity to the printed page further exploring
the concepts of morality and social issues of his earlier work.
